Tank for life, baby.
Tank for life, baby.
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
I have not played this game, but when I play Pen and Paper stuff, I usually go for the guy that hits things hard. So I imagine I would do the same here.
Big fan of being the damage dealer. Was a pretty great Dragoon before my sub expired.
DPS get inside me
Healer is fine, but dps is too.

can you hear me in the void?
I haven't tried healer yet but between tank and DPS I prefer DPS. Less getting yelled at for not being completely flawless. I plan on leveling PLD to 50 eventually but I think I'm only gonna whip that one out when I'm with Fat Chocobos. I've seen enough tank bickering during CT runs with my BLM to know I don't want any part of that.
That's if I ever even finish FFX|X-2 HD. Since it came out last month I think I've played a total of forty minutes of FFXIV.
If I played FFXIV, I'd probably enjoying helping people out and assisting people. So maybe something like a Paladin. Taking hits for people, and maybe curing and/or buffing them as well.
surely you mean white mage, not paladin

I do everything. There is no everything option on the poll, so I abstained.
I prefer PLD tanking, which is weird because I almost always prefer mdps.
...
I like all three! Usually tanking is my jam, but lately I've been really sick of how people treat tanks in MMO's.
"... and so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written."
Typically in MMOs, I play as a tank. I was a DPS in WoW until my guild convinced me to play a tank because they needed one. I switched, and I never looked back. I really prefer the play style. It makes combat seem more personal, and more involved than DPS. I haven't really played FFXIV (I've mostly stopped playing MMOs due to time constraints) but if I did, I expect the trend would continue.
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.
He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.
