You're approaching this like it's some sort of foreign land.
Let me get the reddit ambassador on the phone really quickly.
And you deleted Jinx's post.
Silly subject, silly posts.
It's foreign to me. Not everyone uses it. Simple questions, really.
I'm on reddit a lot. It's my go to boredom site. Besides eoff that is. I usually see news or images there before the rest of the internet. I really like all the subreddits. Some are too small to get much interaction but a decently active one will get you a lot of interaction with like minded people. The big ones though, it's hard to be personable with anyone.
I like that depending on what subreddits I subscribe to, they will be on my front page. I llike that, means I don't have to see all the same stuff from places I don't care about.
yes all the time and i hate it so much
It would be super cool if reddit users could visit our links on reddit!

We need to incorporate more features from these websites if want to stay relevant.
I think everyone could agree on an upvote system on EoFF.
I think not. We like to keep things positive around here, and with upvotes also come downvotes.
We have a similar system in place as it is! Just give moogle hugs to posts and threads you like
Isn't it like fixing the polls if we upvote our own material?
It's frowned upon on Reddit and they're known for spontaneous witch-hunts.
You'd be surprised. There's some people very strongly against it. I've tried to push for a similar type of system, and it pretty much got shot down.
As for reddit, I don't really post much on it - I mostly just lurk and read. I think I've posted... three whole replies, and one whole link, on reddit in about the 3 years I've been browsing on and off xD
Witch hunts for upvoting? Sounds a bit silly to me. That's what people do with their videos, photos, social media in general, isn't it? Get people they know to like their stuff?
the content is marginally better than facebook
Different platforms used for different purposes, imo
I'm on it, but I don't post a lot. A good portion of the community sucks for various reasons, but if you take the time to subscribe to subreddits that interest you and get rid of a good majority of the default subs, you can actually have a decent time on the site.
I basically joined because I am a Game Grumps fan, and their subreddit is one of the better means to see all the fan stuff in one place. Again, the community can be way too much, but it's worth it because the crew is fairly active on that part of the internet.
Anyway, as time went on, I explored other subs and before I knew it, I customized my account to make it a great anti-boredom tool.
