Games you love that your friends don't.
We all have friends who probably have different tastes so while we all have some common thread to connect us, there are also the games that simply mentioning will automatically turn off said friends as well. So what games do you love that your friends don't?

Dress up and other such girly games like wedding planner for the DS or whatever its called

A lot of my gaming tastes came from my friends, but my gf is different. She grew up playing almost only JRPGS (FF VII - X-2 and other misc. ones) and Ratchet and Clank. She doesn't like a lot of the games I play nowadays, because that's all she really liked. I got her into WRPGS (She likes Fallout, but mostly watching). There are certain games of mine that bore her to death though (examples being: Civ V, Counter Strike)

Pretty much all JRPGs. My wife plays some of them and I got my new best bud to play Chrono Trigger, but other than that, whenever I talk about FF or KH everyone's like:
The Last Blade 2.
I don't know how, I don't know why, but of all the fighting games I have on my PS2, this is the only one nobody wants to play.

Like, I get people to play Spectral vs Generation and Matrimelee 2 more often than this game. ._.
As an interesting example of contrary behavior, almost everyone tells me they hate sports games and won't play or talk about them, but then I get them playing the NES Kunio sports games. :D

I would say time sinks like league of legends and team fortress 2. Good games, but spent way too much time playing them. Kicked the habit now I have less time to waste on them.
Still like watching league on twitch sometimes
Most of my irl friends have the same gaming tastes, there's maybe one that detests Call of Duty and makes it clear to me whenever the E3 reveals occur. Another is very much the syereotypical anti-FFVII hater who seeks to seat the likes of FFVI, Chrono Trigger, or Xenogears on the throne instead. It's actually real easy to get him worked up over it, much to the amusement of his cousins or our other friends.
Final Fantasy VIII is the only one I can really think of.
