I learned to drive in my moms 1999 Saab 95. My first vehicle was a 1989 Chevy S10 Tahoe edition Blazer. The first vehicle I purchased all on my own was a 2002 GMC Sonoma ZR2.

Cool. I like Miata's.
Technically I think it was the next-door neighbours Bernese Mountain Dog, Rambo.
Needless to say Rambo didn't approve of my choice of vehicle and my journey was extremely short.
My first car was a ford KA, just a different one to the one I have now (older, more mileage, different colour).
Because they're uncomfortable and tiny. I can't do groceries in them, if we want to bring my son anywhere we need to take a different car, they don't work well for long road trips, speed bumps (heck any bumps) in the road are a huge pain in the butt, when the top is down I'm stuck pulling painful knots out of my hair for a week, and if I sit with my legs to the left how I'm comfortable, the console digs in to my legs.
I know some people like them, which is fine. Sharky loves his miata so I'm happy he has it and I'm happy it makes him happy. It just isn't the type of car for me.
My very first car was my sister's Toyota Tercel. She handed it down to me and bought .... I forget what.
Then after I wrecked it, my parents gave me their 94 Ford Explorer cuz they rarely drove it when they were home - just their F350.
Then my dad bought me my 2005 Ford Focus.. I miss it dearly.
Most of my practice driving was done in this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...aravan_SXT.jpg
