We need to offer more RPG lists to the God of RPGs lest we feel it's might wrath, name your five favourite Gameboy/Gameboy Advanced RPGs to sate it's hunger.
Someone please edit my title to say 'five' it's super weird that it's the odd one out.

Kefka's coming, look intimidating!
Have a nice day!!
1. Pokemon FireRed
2. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
3. Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
4. Pokemon Sapphire
Those are the only RPGs I played on the GBA that were not ports (i.e. FFs I, II, IV, VI, etc.)
Doesnt matter to me but I'd say FireRed is as much a port as FFI
My list in no order:
PKMN Red
Sword of Mana
Final Fantasy VI
Golden Sun
Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance
That last one is because I ran out of RPG's
Kefka's coming, look intimidating!

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Golden Sun: The Lost Age
Mother 3
Sword of Mana
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (thank you for reminding me, Skyblade )
That's all I can think of that isn't a port (Sword of Mana doesn't count because it's essentially a new game)
This would be easier for me if it was just handhelds but I'll come back to this.
True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
I did consider that before putting it in, ultimately I figured it changed some of the core gameplay more than the FF ports though. But yeah I could see it for FF I & 2 at least.
In that case I would put Dawn of Souls in fifth on my list. Not because I didn't like it (since I did) but the other titles were really strong.
It's really hard for me to remember back this far.
Fire Emblem (it counts smurf you)
Golden Sun
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Sword of Mana
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
Of course it counts. Tactical RPGs are still RPGs. If it didn't count, neither would FFTA.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Fire Emblem
Golden Sun & Golden Sun: The Lost Age (the first is better, but I consider them one game)
Megaman Battle Network 3
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
There are plenty more good ones, but those are my Top Five, I think.
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.
He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.
Goodness! How could I forget KH:CoM, one of my favorite KH games!
I think Golden Sun games are the only ones I played through. Though once emulation for it came along, I taste tested a lot of games for it. Honestly don't think I would have enjoyed them back in the day. I'm honestly surprised I'm not seeing things like Super Robot Wars or Summon Night games. I think the only other game I played a large majority of was Sword of Mana
Shining Soul was garbage. The Shining Force port/reboot was garbage. FF:TA was a little too kiddie for me. And the other tactical games fell into the old formula of battle battle battle tedium (Tactics Ogre and Fire Emblem)
1. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
2. Golden Sun
3. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
4. Golden Sun: The Lost Age
5. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Those are my top 5 though I can't even think of other RPGs for GBA.
