Do you lot ever keep track of what I like to call "Landmark Posts". I recall sitting with Shauna during my "Eyes on you" and she was saying how she wasted her 10,000th post on my eyes on you thread.

Do you look at landmark posts as well or just ignore them and move on without recognising them?
I understand that this is also my 1,000th post. Happy 1,000th post to me

Either way, actually, no, not at all. Post counts weren't really enabled until I was in the 30's and by then who cares!

Way way way back when I joined, people were allowed one thread per user to celebrate a post count of their choice. I thought it was amusing.

I don't keep up with my postcounts very often because I simply forget, but I have noticed this...

Who was it that stayed at 9999 for months by going back and deleting old posts every time they made a new one? Or was it just me who noticed that they were doing that? This was a few years ago.

i don't care enough and only note my post count when there are threads like this or I remember that Jinx hit my postcount at the time within a week of her joining

I wouldnt say I keep track but usually I look over around the x980 mark and notice it's coming up.

I wish where my post count is it said 'hello would you like to win the SAVINGS OF A LIFETIME then just step right up and take part all you have to do is put your name in the hat and we give it the spin and randomly pick one out and it COULD BE YOU'

one forum i know of has a group of people who have changed their location so it says things like "you should read my " and then the post count obviously. it is pretty sad and pathetic and makes everyone look stupid and doesnt' work perfectly with the format...

hey parker how about we change it to "amount of times this person has had sexual intercourse" instead of "Posts:" because then we'll look like a couple of non-virgins and, dare I say, really cool dudes.
