You can't see it well, but father guy busted the cell right open. If you look on the top right corner, you can see the door flying away

The bad bishop then hits him with a huge fireball, literally turning him to ash

He plans to use Michael and Harry as slaves and to set Saber off somewhere in the wild.

Apparently the Church came and destroyed the existing Church in order to make one that suits their religion. They are obviously using slaves to build it. They are also preaching that they can bring about peace

I speak to the slaves and its really just an incredibly sad state of affairs.

Apparently they plan to kill all of the slaves afterwards. Some of the guards, however, are saying that everyone will be set free so long as they convert.

I go find Harry who has changed a great deal in the past 10 years

He then mentions how it must be tough knowing my mother is still out there and wanting to find her.

We then get sent to bed and Harry talks to me about behaving more so I get whipped less

It's good he's become a less obnoxious person, but this is still a sad turn of events. These were the wrong circumstances for this to happen.

So we start another day of work and I feel bad because I am doing no work, just going around talking to people. Then I find this scene:

That is the soldier's sister. She was made a slave for arguing with one of the guards.

Harry and I are disgusted by their treatment of her and step in for a fight. After its over, some guards stop by

Harry is just chilling in prison, using it as an excuse to finally relax, when suddenly the soldier comes and unlocks us.

He says the bodies and the slaves things get sent away in the barrels so he suggests we hop in and escape.

We are lost out at sea before I finally awaken somewhere

We watch her get baptized and she gives me somethings and the nuns are all super friendly. It's a nice change of pace. I do feel guilty about all of the other slaves, though

Someone mentions a special shop that's only open at night, I'm guessing this has something to do with it.

Then I look up how to make it nighttime because I'd done everything I cared to do in town. I thought it would be event triggered, but apparently you just hang out on the world map until it changes. Oops

So I head back to my village which I've noticed is very close on the map

Only to find it in horrible condition! Mr. Spanish's house is burned down and in a pile of poison, which means my flower is gone too . Houses everywhere are burned down and the town is largely abandoned.

I talk to that old man who asks about my father. I fill him in on everything, which he is saddened about.

And now we have our villain. Except the nun says something about blaming my father because Harry is gone. This all seems very unfortunate

So we head in to the cave where we make a new friend!

Also, apparently the monsters don't listen properly until their wisdom hits 20, which would explain why Saber would sometimes not do what I wanted.

I do love the talk option with your party. They comment on the most random stuff, like the woman behind the counter at one of the shops. It's neat!

We are forbidden to cross the river until Harry reminds the guard about his fear of Frogs

So we get to go through and head to the castle. Some people there are obviously unhappy.

I manage to get in to the castle, but my access is limited.

So I get on a raft and sneak in through a waterway under a bridge. Sneaky sneaky.

I find a prisoner who tells us the Queen is behind it all, which we knew

So the mirror has something to do with a tower which has something to do with the queen. I head down the stairs which leads me to some weird portal and I end up south of where I was.

The tower is locked and remembering the monks thing, I head north, back to the Church of the Nuns of the Above.

Fortunately he lets me use his sweet telescope and read his journal (that last one he may not have known about)
