He then tells me to seek out a cave and he vanishes, ghost like.

I then find the cave and use the magma staff which does this

And gets rid of the mountain blocking the entrance.

I go in to a weird trolly system and I eventually meet a strange man claiming to be Zenthinian

He says he has been trapped in that cart for 20 years before I came along

So as you can see, I have arrived at the now underwater city of floating castle place

What an odd expression.

So there is a gold orb missing, which he thinks fell from that giant hole in the ground. He then decides to meditate to find out where it went

The fact that the orb fell is why the castle fell. It apparently needs 2 orbs and now it only has one.

So I defeat him and get the chest behind him containing a dragon eye.

Then I go through more of this long annoying dungeon

So I bring the two dragon eyes I got from defeating the two baddies and I put them back in the dragon statue and a new path opens and other typical RPG like things

Okay sorry guys for the slow updates, been busy irl and also was doing some item collecting and such

First thing of note is that I finally beat Bjorn much more easily since the twins had gained about 15 levels. This gave me the key to unlock everything ever, hence the item collecting

So I defeat Ferz, Nera is still a statue, and I find a secret staircase.

It leads through one of the less annoying dungeons in this game. It also leads through the place where I used to be a slave!

I really feel bad I never went back to rescue those people :/

So I find that guy who engages me in a very difficult battle. After a while, I win

He says he will open the underworld for me, but something goes wrong!

So Ladja kills him and then mocks me and leaves. Once he is gone, I find a ring called The Circle of Life

Now that I am reunited with my whole family, Albert wants to see me

I tell him I am and he discourages me from doing so. He says to listen to my mother who spoke to me through the ring.

Meanwhile, my Spanish friend tells me he will support me since my father wanted me to find my mother. My wife of course says she will support me no matter what

So we head out on our journey and find a shrine with three angel statues.

The three angel statues want the three rings I've obtained throughout the game

When they get them, a weird portal opens up and I go through it and end up in the underworld like place

Its time, are you ready? The finale of Dragon Quest V. I'm so sad I'm going to miss Nera

So we head through the underworld some more and find some things and eventually come to this pool of lava



Apparently it isn't recommended I step through lava, so instead I am told to use an item full of water I just found 5 seconds earlier. How convenient!

Uh oh, this is it, almost time. But not before a long annoying puzzle dungeon of course. After about an hour, I clear the things and find none other than







It's nice that he's trying to learn English so we can understand him.

Some rose petals come down as everyone dances in joy and laughter and then the credits role. I save the game and apparently there are sidequests for me to complete, but I'll leave it at this for now. I hope you all enjoyed! I really loved this game and I would recommend it to anyone who liked RPG's. I had a lot of fun
