Beat the heat

what are some things you do to help beat the heat during the hot and humid season?

I like me a tall, cold glass of raspberry lemonade and ice cream. Swimming is great, but sometimes, just hanging out in the air conditioning while I'm gaming is great too!

My recommendation for people in the northern hemisphere would be to come to Australia to beat the heat this time of year. Today it is a pleasant 24C (although I'm sure that still sounds warm to some of you anyway ).

Generally I go with swimming and/or nudity and/or air conditioning depending on where I am, what I'm doing and who I'm with. I also drink a lot of juice and eat icecream, jelly and fruit. Last summer I devoured like half a kilo of grapes a day.

I want more sun and more dry heat it's not sunny or hot enough here for my tastes.

That being said, I am very disappointed that this wasn't about drag racing against the local police department which was featured on a USA special of Top Gear a while back.

Staying inside air conditioned buildings away from the sun, sunscreen when I leave the house for extended periods of time, lots of ice cream, iced coffee, fans blasting within inches of my face. I do not enjoy the heat.
