FFXV @ E3 2014?

Do you think that FFXV will have any presence at E3 next month?

I'm hoping so, but I'm not holding my breath. I do think we should at least get a new trailer seeing as it will be EIGHT years since it was announced as Versus XIII at E3 2006. Also now that Lightning Returns, FFX | X-2 HD and XIV have all released there's nothing in the way. Now would be the perfect time to release some new info.

I'm voting "yes". I live in hope...

It definitely will! There is talk of a release date finally being procured for 2015!

They should have some nice trailers to unveil as well.

Eyes on Final Fantasy will have our own coverage of it from a couple of different sources, so pay attention!

I'd love for a WORLDWIDE release date to be set at TGS in September, but that may be asking for too much xD

I think we're more likely to get information from Tokyo Game show in September. Maybe we'll get another short trailer but I don't think we'll be getting a release date or anything.

I'd love to be wrong, though.

We should see something, but I'm not sure if it'll be a release date. SE's sales forecast for up until March 2015 is incredibly tame, so if there is a release date reveal I suspect the release won't be until Q3-Q4 2015 at the earliest, with US/EU as late as Q2 2016.

I'm sure we will, although in what capacity is what concerns me. I'd like some more information on the game, maybe some gameplay footage. I'd love a release date. What we'll get is probably another 30 second FMV snippet in the middle of the usual Call of Duty, Madden and FIFA trailers, and that'll be that for another year.

Haha same, I decided when the PS4 was announced that I'd take the plunge when FFXV was released, but right now I can't really afford it. Next year or better yet 2016 would be better for me as well.

I'd say they'd be doing themselves a huge disfavour by not having at least a trailer. Ideally, they should have alpha/beta-stage gameplay demo consoles at their booth, but that might be a tiny bit optimistic. A "holiday 2014" release date would be perhaps the best news I could remotely hope to get, but q1/q2 2015 might be more realistic.
