Well I'm home from work and ready to try again! ::deep breaths::
You know, if you could just quit in the middle of a race my frustration level would go down about 10,000%
FINALLY!!!! I WILL NEVER DO THAT GARBAGE EVER AGAIN! GOD!!!

The only minigame I ever bothered with was Blitzball. Upon examining the various other minigames and people's reactions to them, I can see I made the right choice on giving them a pass. I never cared to make 100% in a game, anyway.

This was easy to me I don't see the issue.
I've never had an issue with the chocobo racing, but I can understand why some people would. Everything about that is horrible. I have pretty decent patience for it though because it's not a terribly long process. The lightning dodging is a whole different matter.
I absolutely hated playing this mini-game to get the Sun Sigil for Tidus. I would rather dodge 5,000 bolts of lightning than try to complete the Chocobo Race again. It took so long for me to not only get through the course in 0.0, but then to do it without the balloons and birds penalizing me. I eventually had to take a backseat and let a buddy of mine get it...on his third freakin try somehow. He had completed it earlier that day on his game file, so he breezed through my race.
I hated it. My only gripe about FFX.

When this game first came out I wasn't so bad at it. I think I did it in under an hour. Now that I'm older I'm no where near the gamer I used to be.
Yea. I had to take a break from this, because it is so frustrating. I've done it before on the PS2 but I'd really like to beat it on the HD so I can get the various trophies. I don't usually bother with trophies but my friend invested serious amounts of time into this game when we were younger and I wanna beat him.
I always had a theory that a Chocobo couldn't get drunk or hurt or anything, it made me feel less scared having one because I convinced myself they were invinsible
