The general consensus seems to be that FFX had the most annoying mini-games of the entire series, and that is the objectively correct opinion. Blitzball wasn't too bad, but all of the rest seemed designed to frustrate the player. FFX is probably the only game in the series that can make you hate chocobos.
I hated most of the mini-games at the Golden Saucer since I was crap at them.

Yeah if lightning counts as a minigame, then the stupid dodging. I have NEVER got that item from that. I suck so bad at dodging the lighting bolts.

Well it's been covered, but pretty much everything in FFX and FFX-2. To me, personally, the worst was Blitzball in FFX-2. I really liked Blitzball in FFX and couldn't wait to try the game in part two thinking that it would be an even deeper, more involved, challenging game, but well, we all know what I got instead. Closest I ever came to quitting the FF franchise. Srsly.

Man I cant believe how many people hated Sphere Break, its one of my all time favourite mini games.
As for those I detest: Choco Dodger, Tetra Master and the calibrating of the lightning towers in X-2.
X-2 Blitzball, Lightning Dodging, Butterfly Catcher.
After Triple Triad, I had expected Tetra Master to be awesome too, but it wasn't. That mini fighting game in the Wonder Square in VII sucked too.
I thought Blitzball was actually a fairly enjoyable mini-game in FFX when you got used to it, but otherwise, I thought FFX had the most annoying mini-games in the series, such as:
- lightning dodge
- butterfly hunt
- Chocobo racing
- Cloisters of Trials (the one in (SPOILER)Zanarkand was alright, but I hated the rest)
- "10 sphere hunt with a camera from hell", i.e. the one just before (SPOILER)the final battle, where you have to watch out for icicles.
I can't say much about the mini-games of FFX-2, though. I hardly played any Blitzball there, and Sphere Break seemed fine when I played it for a couple of times.

I like Sphere Break, but I grew annoyed w/ the Gunner game. I remember Blitz not being nearly as good as the original.
