Did you upgrade everyone's weapon?

Simple question, did you go through the motions or just upgrade Squall's since he gets the most benefit?

Mostly for me as well. I didn't go so far as to get everyone's best weapon, but I did do some upgrading.

I am pretty sure I did everyone's best weapon on my last playthrough. I didn't bother with each individual upgrade though (unless you had to? i forget).

They look so much better the more upgraded they are. Everyone needs best.

I didn't like that so much about VIII, much less weapons. I always loved finding/buying new weapons in previous games.

I could never upgrade everyone's it's been at least 6 years since I played this, but I think I could never manage to upgrade two of the characters. Can't remember which two they were, but I'm leaning towards Quistis and Squall.

I think in my last playthrough, I got bored before I collected enough random items to upgrade everyone. Not entirely sure. This is a game where I tend to get easily bored in the endgame, just because there's so much stuff you can do if you're on that silly perfect game pursuit like I tend to be most of the time.

In principle, I'd upgrade everyone just for the sake of it.

I upgrade everybody's weapons. I skip the non-main party members until I need to use them though, so I'm saving bits.
