I played through the free trial, subbed for a month after, then stopped. FFXIV was my first ever MMO. I'm pleased to say that I tried it because I was looking forward to it ever since it was first announced, but ultimately it's not for me. Much prefer the single player story driven experience, and the story in FFXIV is few and far between to be honest. Plus there's the fee...I know that it's not that much a month, but still. When you're not playing it it just feels like you're wasting money.
