Quetzalcoatl is not the spelling of the GF in VIII and I copied all of these names from another source. I have no idea of the spelling of Hiryuu or Hiyruu or what have you!

Oh, right. The FF Wikia page is for Quetzalcoatl but the spelling in the FFVIII entry has the other spelling. Fair enough I pronounced them as I expect they should be based on my searching of the wikia page

According to the FF Wikia the name is used in like three other games, plus its inclusion as a XIV server and so on. I guess it was just misspelled in the game back in the dodgy translation days. Or the character limit days. Either or.
