I would suggest that you don't wait for everyone's approval before going ahead, especially in a thread where people seem to be bickering needlessly or being facetious instead of supportive. Everyone has different preferences, intake levels and goals, and everyone's body responds a bit differently to sweet treats. If it will make you feel better or like it's less drastic if you give up chocolate, cakes, cookies and soda but still indulge in a bit of squash every other day, then go ahead! If your goal is to forgo all added sugars for four weeks, then nix it. You're already having breakfast, which is arguably better than a lot of people!
