    Default Secret of Evermore

I'm jumping into Secret of Evermore this week. If there were any tips or things to look out for don't be shy to share it in this thread. They'd be greatly appreciated. I know I was told by someone that the spell creation (or whatever, I can't remember) can be a bit tedious. This will be my first time playing the game. If you don't have any tips then just discuss the game as you normally would.

There is a bazooka in the room with the first battle.

Oh gosh I loved this game back in the day.
    Still do, really.
I actually liked the spell system, but then I like usually do like alchemy in games and don't mind the tedium.

I think I mentioned that finding the ingredients can be tedious.

Make sure you have your dog's settings towards looking for ingredients, but change it to fighting for when you face bosses/tough enemies.

When you get to the desert you don't need to pay the ferryman to take you across. You can actually just walk it. It takes a little while, but it's better than grinding for money.

If you've played Secret of Mana, you'll have an idea of how the battle system works.

I have never played Secret of Mana.

The main character looks like Archie. So that's what an action RPG was like in the 16-bit era? Not a fan.

The fire eyes bit was amusing and clever.
