Character Differences
Do the characters in this game have any distinction or unique traits in battle or are they all basically the same since they can all have the same jobs and equipment?
Also, what types of roles did you give your characters? Did you give them individual roles like fighter or mage or did you go for a balanced set of jobs for each character?

There are some very minor stat differences, but on the whole, they all function the same. You can customize them however you want, and they'll fill whatever role you give them just as well as the others.
I tend to switch people around to learn as many skills as I can, but then I tend to settle into dedicated classes once I've maxed everything.
