Yeah, that's what I thought. Having additional Year 7 Prefects wouldn't really make sense.

As to you thinking it's crazy there are a lot of prefects, they're probably guarding the Library from Hermione.

Huh, the HP Wiki says that's true. I don't remember that being mentioned ever, though (especially since they make a pretty big deal in the 5th book about him never being a prefect).
