The Sims Thread!
This isn't quite a LP, more of a general discussion and a 'post your screenshots!' type affair.
So basically, I've really gotten into The Sims 3 lately, which is great, because I love the Sims 3. This feeling has also seem to have touched shion and Fynn, and I'm sure there's a few others as well (literally, just look at us three's VMs, at least half is Sims related in some way).
So the point of this thread is just to post screenshots of some of our Sims and what they get up to, as well as just generally drool over the Sims and praise it and whatever.
I'll start! I'm currently playing with a couple called Eugene and Alistair, both Young Adults. Eugene is a writer, while Alistair is a budding Private Investigator. The benefit of both jobs is that they operate under open working hours, so their days are very flexible. For obvious reasons, Eugene specializes in the writing skill, but because he stays home more than Alistair, he also has a healthy cooking skill as well. Meanwhile, to supplement his profession, Alistair majors more in the logic and athletic skills, with two points in cooking so he won't starve if left by himself.
But enough words! Here's some photos I take while playing as them.
Something sporty!
I like my Sims being active, so I took the couple to the park to play some Football shootouts - perfectly in time for the World Cup!
Something dangerous?
I took them to France for a vacation. Here they are, exploring a Celtic Burial Ground, one of many tombs in the region. Not sure why Alistair is thinking about food at this current moment, while Eugene slaves away.
Something embarrassing
After the France trip, I took Alistair to the gym, so he could work on his Athletic skill and work on his fitness. He isn't doing very well! (This is at level four Athletic, by the way).
Something unethical
This is Alistair working on a case as a P.I. One guy, called Parker funnily enough, is suspicious of this woman called Bessie, and thinks Bessie is working for a criminal organisation. Parker then asks me to investigate Bessie's home, so I am told to shift through mail, and go through her rubbish.
I find that she is precisely working for a criminal organisation, and get paid for my efforts. Result!

But back to the France trip. During their final day, in the town square, I got Alistair to propose to Eugene, and I loved the reactions from both! Afterwards, I got them to watch the stars together.
