Gutted, but inevitable. Sad the ride is over but what a hell of a ride it was. Definitely the most exciting and skilful player I've seen play for Liverpool. Don't know if I'd call him the best but he'd be up there.
I think Liverpool will struggle without such a talent. Don't think there'll be a title tilt this year. Don't think it's impossible to come in the top four but it'll be one hell of a fight and I wouldn't count on it happening.
Whether you loved him or loathed him, I think we can all agree it was never dull. The Premier League just got a whole lot more boring.
Maybe you can sign Balotelli.

This is the first season in a while that I'm not sure Liverpool fans can say definitively that this is their year. It feels like something is missing from football.

I can't help but feel disappointed that Manchester United do not feauture by name in this poll! Yes, we had a dreadful season last season, but I'm actually really excited about this season. Van Gaal has proven he knows his stuff in the World Cup and certainly has a strong character. It looks as if Ed Woodward is pulling his finger out this transfer window as well with hopefully more to come!
