Default How does this game make you feel?

I haven't played all of it, but I would already say its one of the better FF games in terms of making me feel something and getting invested in the characters.

Well, Oprah, I have a variety of feels when I play this game.

It's kind of sad whenever someone gets sick, dies or gets turned to stone.

It's frustrating when someone is gone from the party & they're wearing a valuable piece of equipment.

There is great joy in Cecil turning into a Paladin, only because he looks like a white version of the Warrior from FFI. (SPOILER)Plus there's a spaceship shaped like a whale.

Really, though, this was probably the first FF to have a really great story. I know II had some story, but let's pretend that doesn't exist for the time being. There's a lot of great characters in this game, each w/ an interesting story. Plus they're all relevant, so it's easy to get attached to them.

Some might complain that (SPOILER)almost all the characters come back from the "dead" @ some point (except Tellah) But I necessarily don't find that a bad thing.

It makes me feel like I should've played it sooner to enjoy it to its full potential. As it was it left me with kind of a meh feeling. It was very enjoyable, just not all that special. Maybe because I played it in a phase where I was just so smitten with some other FF games that my expectations were through the roof.

...well except for THOSE scenes. Hearing that word "Break!" was, shall we say, memorable.

    Good question.

I love this game alot, though I first played it during a really bad time in my life personally, so it summons forth bad and good memories. Guess it's a mixture of pain and happiness.

Christmas, it always puts me in the Christmas spirit cause I was playing it pretty heavily around the holiday season. Other than that it makes me feel heroic and conflicted and really nostalgic.
