Faris is awesome. But I love the whole cast of this game! I do enjoy Bartz's backstory though, finding out... (well, I guess I should tag this on the off chance someone's in this thread but hasn't played the game)

(SPOILER)...that his dad was one of the original Dawn Warriors, along with Galuf and Zeza and Kelga. I thought that plot point, while arguably contrived, really gelled the story of the two worlds together and added relevance to Exdeath and the Void and all that. So therefore I think Bartz engaged me in the world the most.
