I have an unnatural attachment to my generic's. To the point that I rarely use the named characters. Mind you, I think part of the reason is because my generic's tend to have abilities I feel I need by the point named characters come along, and I hate the thought of leveling the name characters in those other jobs to get them.

Mind you, I've still done it on occasion. Then of course there's Orlandu who's just balls to the wall good without any leveling other jobs when you get him.

Plus I can send the generic's on missions to level up the troutty jobs like calculator to get the good skills. Like calculator skills.
