Whether it was the two console releases or the PC versions that are still going strong, who else picked these up and tried to make a game?

True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.

I was terrible, but yes, I did try.
I recently picked up the Humble Bundle with all of them in it because lol why not!
I've been tinkering around with RPG Maker for 10 years.
The Bundle was the best deal I've seen for anything in a while and I feel sorry for anyone who didn't manage to get it! Ended up making a game with the included content for the Indie Game Maker Contest 2014. You can find my entry here (and feel free to vote for me to win the people's choice award! ;p)
Yeah, once or twice. I made an EoFF game out of it once, you can probably find it in the General Archive if you care to.
No, I quoted you because you said RPG Maker 3 was too hard to figure out then turned around and said it was easier.
Every couple of years I come back to it determined to make the greatest game ever and then five minutes later I decide that I'm actually pretty troutty at making games with RPG Maker and turn it off.
I've been using the software so long it's crazy -- I started with Don Miguel's patch of RM2K, and I've made a few games with RM2K3; it's my preferred revision, limited though it may be, of the software thus far (though Super Dante is a close runner up).
Interestingly enough, I never use the software to make actual RPGs and always attempt to create games of other genres instead, such as adventure games, board games, and maze-runners.
Didn't we all tinker around with it?
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.
He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.
