I have it and I think it's pretty solid. In some ways, it is an improvement over the PSP version - there is no slowdown at all and the sprites have a bit more detail to then. On the downside, sometimes the menus get buggy, but if you quick save and reset the device, everything goes back to normal, and that is pretty rare anyway. Not sure how that works on an iPad, but it really played great on my iPhone 5
