    Boco Crazy Filmmaking Experiments

So a while back, Huxley and I watched this movie called "Russian Ark" and basically it was filmed as one long 96 minute shot. THERE ARE NO CUTS IN THIS MOVIE and there were like 2000 actors in it CAN YOU IMAGINE IF ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE HAD MESSED UP.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Ark look at this

Let's talk about weird arthouse movies and other films that did crazy stuff.

a single continuous shot sounds like a massive pain in the ass but that's pretty awesome

I mean we thought Gravity was impressive because there's like a nine minute long continuous shot in it but Russian Ark was completely insane. For other reasons too, it should be noted.

Snarky reply to the thread: Italian neo-realism has always fascinated me because I didn't know you could make such boring films about absolutely nothing at all

Serious answer: It's not exactly obscure or anything but remember when the first Toy Story came out and suddenly everyone discovered that CGI was perfectly viable as a means to make a movie?
