Yeah Beatrix is the best character and if you kept her I'd probably think this is the best FF

After my first encounter with Beatrix at Burmecia, she struck fear into my heart in our next two battles, so I guess she did her job very well.

She's cool. In fact, I knew how cool she was since she had the Shock ability. Who was the last person who had that? GENERAL LEO! And he was a badass! Never mind that he got killed
But when Beatrix uses the ability, she really shows how she can...beat..and...uh...trick the enemy!

Because she would never leave your party. Why create a ton of different interesting play styles and characters if you know that everyone who plays is only going to use one character all the time (I know, it doesn't quite hold up since you have a party, but it would still massively limit decisions and party setup, because everyone would use Beatrix all the time)?Originally Posted by Pike

She was cool and a badass and genuinely scary but I didn't quite buy the whole "merciless soldier turned good gal" thing because she seemed really happy to slay countless people and just was not a nice person at all
I'm due a FFIX play through very soon and I'm particularly looking forward to getting diced up two (or three, I can't remember) times by this legendary character while I try and mug her stuffs.

Remember that one time I took a picture in a "cosplay" as her? Yeah. She's awesome.
Beatrix was all kind of awesome.
First as boss with badass music, then awesome knight during the Garnet retrieval, then as love struck bird with Steiner.
I am just sad that we didn't get to use her more. At least in one boss fight or something.
She's rad because she Kicks your butt in the first disc, and then turns into an ally in the second disc.
Pysches you up for having her as a rad ally, but she is too much like steiner to keep around. Replace that nerd and I'd take her in my party.
The PS One simply wasn't designed to handle that much awesome in one game. Had you kept her in your party the console would have exploded.Why don't you get to keep her in your party?
