I haven't been to the local library in a while - probably since I moved out of my parents' place, when the library was a short walk away. I frequent the uni library though, but generally just to use the powerpoints or print things. I will start going to the library again once I run out of unread books on my own shelf.

My future is fuelled by the fires of words, wit and companionship.

I think a secret underground room full of books sounds awesome. If I ever run a library again, I'M DOING THIS.
It was awesome to explore, though I definitely was not allowed in that room. A nearby business in the caves was under construction or something, and you could sneak into the book room from there. That being said, the actual "library" didn't have any books actually inside it that you could physically check out, so that was pretty dumb.

It's not a library, but for anyone who can't make it to one who'd like to read more there are a few sites with free e-books that've been made a part of the public domain. The one I frequent most often is Project Gutenberg.

I think I've been to more libraries in video games than in real life.

There are quite a few free e-books on Amazon as well!

Here's a handy list I bookmarked a while back - 100 Legal Sites to Download eBooks
