I think my fave combo is Fighter/White Mage/Black Mage/Red Mage. I know having so many mages probably seems silly, but I love them all. Especially Red Mage. I just love Red Mage.

Fighter/Red Mage tends to be in almost all of my parties these days. They're the best class in the older editions and they both have pretty cool designs; just can't beat communist red. Black Belt tends to show up as well but not always.
Fighter/Monk/Bl Mage/Wt Mage is probably the one I use the most
But Fighter/Thief/Red Mage/Wt Mage is probably my favorite.
Pike... I love you. I do the same combo class and I'm crazy for Red Mages! Best dressed character in gaming!
