I quit for about a year and a half but have started up again. Before quitting, I was smoking 6-8 cigarettes a day, lighting up after meals, amongst friends and maybe once or twice through a work day. Since starting again, it's gradually gone up to about a pack a day.
I think I'm using the fact I've 'successfully' quit before as an excuse to keep lighting up, because I convince myself that since I've done it before, I can do it again...someday.
