I love how straightforward the story is. No nonsense or anything, you're just the Warriors of Light pretty much straight off the bat. It takes me back to the good ol' days of FFI.

Job system, soundtrack, a good break from the serious tone of previous FFs (and those that would come after). It's a damn shame it didn't come stateside initially.

I appreciate that most jobs, unlike in FF3, remain useful throughout the entire game.

There is nothing about this game I don't like. It is my favorite Final Fantasy game and it's not even close.
The world maps were really great, for sure. I also appreciated the design of the Void. It's a very unique dungeon and I kind of wish more RPGs tried things like that.
I like having a lot of jobs! It stabilize my income.
