Would you play a Blitzball spinoff game?

I don't think I would play a spinoff game because it's so well-developed inside X. You have the game itself, the traveling around to recruit people, the free agency rules...it's really nicely done. I feel like a game that reduced the FF aspect and played up the sporting aspect (obviously with better mechanics and such) would be somehow less appealing.

If they could somehow, someway, make a blitzball game in the third dimension, and still have the game be coherent and easy to play, then maybe.

Not really. Part of what makes is fun is that it ties into the rest of the game.

I actually tried to organise a game of Blitzball in real life with all my friends. This failed spectacularly due to a number of issues


- I couldn't get a large sphere of water to be suspended in mid air
- I don't really know the rules
- I didn't have a Blitzball
- None of my friends had a Blitzball
- None of my friends knew what Blitzball was
- None of my friends knew who I was
- I don't have any friends

Yes. I don't have any ideas of how it should be or what I would want from it, I just know that if they made it I'd most likely buy it.
