A Pike

I would definitely like some kind of fox as a pet. They even have largely domesticated foxes, so this isn't a completely impossible dream. I will probably never have the funds/resources to take care of one though.
Red pandas would probably be my second choice.
I would love a little fennec fox as a pet! Barring that, I'd love to have some stingrays or some little fruit bats or something
I used to be set on owning an octopus, but I think 50 gallon tanks are too small for them, and that is the largest size I have the energy for. I will own seahorses one day, though, so help me god! I've been waiting over four years and I will have them!
A kraken or a unicorn.
An ocelot

Look how pretty
I want a baby monkey! My mum's friend had a pet monkey when she was younger. I bet it would be so fun!
If falcons count as 'exotic', then a falcon, and then I'd take falconry lessons and looks super cool having it on my arm.
Otter.
No, I won't choose. You just try to make me pick one and watch what happens to you. See those carrots? They tried to make me choose. Well, they ain't makin' nobody choose no more.
Or
Tiger! I am Chinese and in our culture, the Tiger is the king of beasts. Reasons:
- Represents great military prowess (or strength by itself). Tiger also represents courage, wrath and royalty, among other things. Tigers are associated with great people (5 Tiger Generals = 5 best generals in China). Tiger tallies were used in the Han dynasty to dispatch armies. The emperor had one half, and a general had the other. Only when two halves were together, could the army be mobilized.
- Is a mythical guardian (White Tiger of the West) and a member of the zodiac. Of all the great creatures in Chinese culture, only the Tiger lives up to its reputation. It is real (unlike Dragon, Phoenix or Qilin) powerful, graceful and majestic. And it is the only animal to rival the Dragon, which is often considered the greatest animal.
- Some have the Chinese character for king (王), on their forehead. Many illustrations depict them with it too.
- Tigers have greatly influenced many other Asian cultures, such as India, Japan and Korea. It is also one of the world's most beloved creatures.
