Interesting Font Choices

It might just be me, but I find the sort of cleancut, modern font stylings in the menus and text and so on seems off, for me. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but I quite like the font you had in FFX.

Anyone else feel the font in the remaster is very cleancut?

I feel the same way. I liked the old font better but to be honest it's not like the new one looks bad or anything and on the small Vita screen it fits well, just seems little off like you said.

An interesting mod idea may involve Comic Sans.
