I know I'm going to be in the minority here, but nope. Give me a good old portion of chips (or fries, whatever) over curly fries any day.

They're great for the occasional change of pace, but I'd take a nice crispy crinkle cut most of the time.
Chips are always best with garlic aioli.

The contents of this thread are, in the main, absolutely correct. Curly Fries are perhaps the greatest of the Lord's many gifts to his humble flock.
Curly fries are the best fries variant, hands down.
On the other hand, I don't have much love for crinkle cut fries though. Why bother making them crinkly?

If I have regular fries, I prefer them to be really thin.. Like Steak N Shake's .. Steak N Shake fries own so hard. So do their burgers. omg.

A few months ago I discovered you can buy enormous bags of Arby's curly fries in the freezer at the grocery store. I almost crapped my pants with excitement.
