Angry FFII Has the worst dungeon design in the series.

The only reason why FFX and XIII aren't in the running is because at least FFII tried to put some effort into something that could be called dungeon design but good lord I hate the dungeons in this game. There long, they have the obnoxious rooms with 5x higher encounter rates that transport you in the middle of the room so you are guaranteed at least three battles before you can exit, there is very little in terms of puzzles and few secrets. Due to the XP system, the battles are made tedious so its not like you get enjoyment out of going through any of the games numerous atrocious dungeons. I like FFII but I can't forgive it for the bad dungeon design.

It was a NES game. I really didn't expect more and I don't see why anyone else would.

I make allowances for 2 more than I would other FF games because of how dated it is.

I make this statement because I felt FFI had better dungeons and FFIII had fantastic dungeons.

Well I haven't played those games.

Maybe I should. *strokes the beard he doesn't have*
