For those who have played multiple version of some of the FF games, do you prefer the originals or do you sometimes feel like the remakes or ports add enough new stuff or fix some glaring issues to make them superior to the original?

True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: Step out the front door like a ghost into the fog Where no one notices the contrast of white on white And in between the moon and you, the angels get a better view Of the crumbling difference between wrong and right
I really more like the remakes for better graphics, bug fixes, new stuff to do etc.
It's game dependent, as I prefer the original versions of FF1, 3, and 6, but the enhanced versions of 2, 4, and 5.
I have mixed feelings about the FF1 remakes, they eliminate the challenge which was the games main draw but at the same time the gameplay has been greatly balanced.
I think the FF3 and FF4 remakes are amazing and greatly superior to the originals.
I don't have a lot of experiences with FF4-6 ports, I usually just load up the original in an emulator.
All the 16-bit games with redrawn sprites look absolutely horrible.
