Reacquainted with an old favorite

I recently rediscovered a series I loved when I was first getting into anime which is Gunnm or as some westerners will remember it as Battle Angel Alita, a series that really influenced my views on cyborgs and cyber-punk genre. It has been glorious! So has anyone else in the last few years gotten reacquainted with a series, band, or film from your past?
