    Default Wonder Woman

The live action Wonder Woman TV show is playing on my TV. What is this? I don't even-- What is going on!? *resist*

Talk about all things Wonder Woman here. I expect Shorty to post in this thread soon.

    All hail Lynda Carter!

For reals, though, I don't know how I feel about the Gal Gadot casting for this fine lady. The entire potential (?) lineup for The Justice League looks poor, but I was particularly bummed about Wonder Woman. I hope she doesn't blow it.

I would love to see an expanded version of this Wonder Woman fan movie. Gave me chills when I first saw it. (it's fan-made so allow some cheese leniency plz)

Wonder Woman made me think of a combination between Batman and I Dream of Jeannie. I like the short (the part where she tries to throw the spear is pretty funny though).

I hope the next live iteration of WW is decked out in armor like a full-on Valkyrie (the Norse version of Amazons, IMO).
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

I can support anyone who can throw a tiara and decapitate you with it. That lasso would save you time Googling and Internet stalking to find the facts. Those bracelets are kinky yet handy, a combination I have looked for all my life. I wish I could spin in place and have an outfit appear. All in all, there are worse superheroes to be or befriend.

Has anyone here seen the animated short by Warner Brothers? It had Nathan Fillion in it. It was pretty good.

DC and the WB should just stick to making animated features, really.

I've always seen Wonder Woman as a character whose potential has gone unrealized in their TV and film adaptations. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as if that's going to change any time soon. I'm still holding out hope, though.

You're looking a bit dark and gritty, Wonder Woman, maybe you should rethink this...

She can't be any worse than Baffleck, who probably thinks he's making a Daredevil sequel.

Everyone has to be dark and gritty. It's the DC way.

Affleck is at least a talented actor, writer, and director. Gal Gadot is a model who's biggest acting claim to fame is being in two Fast & Furious movies (and from what I've heard, not being particularly amazing in them). She absolutely could be worse than Ben Affleck.

She could also be a diamond in the rough. Who knows right, taking chances is exciting!

I'm not really a huge DC nerd anyway, so I'm not the superest excited about this movie. It'd be a shame it it turned out bad though. I'll probably watch it in theatres.

No one from Fast and the Furious is a diamond in the rough. No one.
