I consider myself a rational completionist. In other words, I am going to do every sidequest, beat every optional boss, explore every area, and all that. But I'm not going to necessarily get every item (or, yevon forbid, 99 of every item!), max stats (except in X), or get Excalibur II.

So like you, I am obsessed with completion, but unlike you, I'm willing to dive into the deep sidequests and NOT willing to every fight Ozma at level 1. Diff'rent strokes.
