    I'm not sure if it's a cultural difference or just the usual Hollywood folk who don't know jack about the source material and don't care to. I lean more with Shiny on that front. If the ones set in Japan are really so hard to adapt then why not go for the animes that take place outside of it? Like Hellsing.

    How do you even "ban" someone from making "anime"? Do you make it illegal to draw things with big eyes and small mouths outside of Japan's borders? How exactly do you envision such a ban to function, Ergroilnin?
