[Del Murder]

I love platformers. For a long time I have considered making a Del Murder's Top Ten Platformers thread similar to some other threads people have made, but I never got around to it. Off the top of my head the list may include:

Kid Icarus
Kirby's Adventure
Mega Man 2
Mega Man X
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. 3
Super Mario World
Super Mario 64
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3
Yoshi's Island

I consider the games based more on exploration and collecting upgrades to reach more areas like Metroid and more recent Castlevania games to be its own subgenre so I didn't list any.
