once a week-ish. usually right before grocery shopping because shopping hungry never does anyone any good.

1 or 2x.. Sometimes more. Usually on the weekends or if it's too hot for me to bother with cooking.

I eat out everyday because I am normally working during my meal times. Soon I will start preparing my meals at home during the evening to bring in for lunch or din din.

I do this for work now. I make a double sized dinner in the evening, and save half for the next day's lunch. It's been working really well, in terms of time saving and yumminess.

I don't go restaurants or fast food places often, 1 - 2 times a month maybe? For my lunches I tend to either bring food in from home. Or I'll go to the local supermarket. They do packs of cooked chicken/turkey breast for £1, pack of mixed salad for 99p and then each week or so I'll buy a salad dressing and some cheese to store in the office fridges and be like "lunch is done" I don't mind paying like £1.99 for chicken/turkey salad each day as if I do so 5 times, it's still only £10 a decent mixed leaf salad would cost me £6 each week to make anyhow and the amount of chicken required would cost a further £10 a week which means this option for now is cheaper.

In winter when I'll be wanting hot meals I may have to re-think my choices.

I have been eating out so stupidly often lately because I have been stressed and unwell and when I am stressed and unwell the last thing on my priority list is to eat well, prepare meals, or cook for myself. All care for my body goes straight out my driver's side window in exchange for a #1 at Sonic.

I go through phases like this a couple of times a year where I binge eat out for a few weeks while I'm stressed the hell out. Most of the time, though, I try to go shopping once a week and keep my breakfast/lunch groceries at work to keep from being tempted to eat out.

That being said, this weekend I wound up with fried chicken (drunk food friday night) and pizza hut... I feel like a real fatty and need to get my arse in the gym again

About once a month on average, usually a pub breakfast.

If I was wealthy, I would eat out daily. It's one of the joys of life. I will always spend as much of my budget as I reasonably can on it. As it is, it fluctuates depending on schedule; not as much as I'd like, probably still more than I should. At the moment, I'd say on average once every two weeks?

Somewhat related, I'd much rather have three 8/10 quality meals for $10 each than one 10/10 quality meal for $50.
