Exactly the same here. I've always seen him as a father figure. Probably why it legitimately saddens me more than most celebrity deaths

I haven't read any of the news stories, but I've always heard rumblings that his personal life and outlook on life were not exactly what he wanted. I don't harshly judge anyone for suicide, and I'm just as sad that if it's true then it's the only outcome he could come up with. He needed his own Patch Adams. I'm really sorry there wasn't one available for him. May he rest in peace
