Woah, dude. I just saw this! And it was on on Entertainment Weekly, so that seems fairly legit. A FB friend of mine made a status about it, and its replies indicate that actual news channels are reporting on it.

I was just going to post on this. It's shocking, but then, it isn't. I understand he went back to rehab a while back, so I know he started using again. It's a shame.

This is actually a fairly sad event. His media presence was a big part of growing up. He will be missed.

I am actually pretty shocked about this. This is literally my first hearing this and my reaction was "Dude...what" because it just I dunno seemed out of no where. Upon learning it's a suicide, that I'm not surprised about. I honestly wouldn't be surprised of a lot of comedians doing that tbh. It's always sad that some of the funniest people are also the most sad.

If anyone hasn't seen it. Watch the monologue from Good Will Hunting that puts young Will in his place. I think it is still today, my favourite scene from any film ever. It's all done in one shot and it demonstrates perfectly how amazingly talented this guy was... and he named his daughter Zelda. I don't know what to say other than...

Genuinely really really gutted. Bubba and I just read this on twitter and we've both just gone quiet in shock. One of my favourite ever actors and genuinely seemed like a really nice guy. So so gutted. RIP x
