So that's happening.
I like them both.
I like Futurama more than both of them though.

I grew up with The Simpsons and honestly, never really much cared for it. I just... didn't find it really funny. It had it's moments, but ultimately it was like 'Friends' with me: occasionally funny, on repeat till the apocalypse, treasured by all. As for Family Guy, I still love that show. Yes, some of the episodes are objectively crap, and it hasn't been the best since season six, but there's just something about it that keeps me watching, and more importantly, laughing.
The Simpsons. At least it had a great eight or so years of episodes.
Family Guy was tolerable until you realized what crappy, lazy, "referencing random pop culture icons and labeling it humor" it was.
They're both worse than ever right now though.
I like Kung-Fu.
While the Simpsons have been in a slump since forever, they had a way longer quality period than Family Guy did, and The Simpson's highs were way better than Family Guy's highs on top of that.
I chose both, because @ some point they were good shows. Now, they could both GTFO.
Today is the anniversary of the first episode of South Park. 17 years of genius. Not a perfect run, but damn near close. The Simpsons might've given us 7 great years, Family Guy was @ best a good show, but neither of these two could sniff South Park's jockstrap.
I prefer The Simpsons over Family Guy, but I prefer Futurama over both of them!
"... and so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written."
Simpsons easily, I'm easily amused I don't find Family Guy in the least bit entertaining.
Both of them were once funny; neither are funny now; The Simpsons was funnier than Family Guy and funny for a lot longer. So The Simpsons by far.
