Part 11 - FFIV Makin Me Cry

Okay so it is time to infiltrate Baron!

So I sneak in through an underground(?) waterway(?) path to get to the castle, which has really cut down on security since I was last here. Much less lively than it used to be.

I didn't think anyone would fall for this, but apparently Cecil left some of his brain cells in his Dark Knight helmet



So apparently he shall join me!



Uh huh. That lasts all of 4 seconds

BOSS FIGHT



So a note about my cheat. It gives me max HP, but all of my other stats remain the same. So this was still a long enough fight, I just didn't have to worry about dying. I also still have to grind some to get my characters to level up and learn new abilities. So the cheat was basically just to make it easier to move through it to get this LP up daily and such.



So we head on in to the throne room



Cecil is all like "YOUR MAJESTY?!?!"



And the secret is out

So I apparently forgot to screencap that fight. He's a big blue turtle. Weak against Thunder spells. There you go!



Cecil needs a new greeting instead of just always yelling out people's names.



That was forever ago Cid, get with the program



So they start arguing because why not at a time like this



Introductions begin



So we head to go find the airship, but apparently not having learned from the last fiend who showed up after we thought he was defeated, this one also tricks us



The walls start caving in and I get all teary eyed because I know what happens next

Stupid game making me cry



I am legitimately sad right now



So the doors get unlocked magically now somehow?



Meanwhile, Golbez is a jerk



Why is it a problem?



This is why you don't make deals with bad guys



Yeah, nothing like kidnapping a girl, holding her against her will, betraying yours and her country, and trying to kill the man she loves to get her to love you.

So they go through the wall and down the stairs



So we get on the airship and head up in to the sky



Oh Kain. Such a card



That works too



Cecil tells him to wake up, but Kain is done talking and he leaves



And that is all for today. That is where I stopped playing last time because the twinsies died, so I have no idea what happens next
