First vs. Third Perspective

Only when you're playing a game where your field of view is trout and you can't change it.

Am I the only person so far that's going to say it depends on the game? Because it really, really does.

For some reason I was thinking this was a thread in RPG, not in general.

Regardless, the other points stand. Non-RPG's I can sometimes be okay with first person, but Third person always looks better. Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3 and NV being the only exception, where something looks severely off in third person.
