Tabata also assured me that Type-0 HD will be a full retail game, and while he couldn’t comment on when we’ll be able to play it, he mentioned that it’s currently about 80% done. From the demo I saw, it looked good and ran super smoothly, but don't expect the kind of visuals we saw at the XV demo back at E3 2013. It's still definitely built upon the foundations of a game from 2011.

I'm happy to hear this. 80% is pretty close to completion, so hopefully well get a release date at TGS.

80% done? Well I would expect it will be ready sometime next year, probably a Spring release for Japan and maybe a Western release by Fall. Glad to see its coming along and finally getting a proper worldwide release.

I wonder if they'll use what they had or they'll start fresh. Hopefully they'll use what they had so we don't have to wait especially long.

Or they could just slap those fan translators with a C&D and steal their translation. Either way, hurry it up SE.
